As the Library Technician: Technical Services you will place course material on reserve, create and maintain course lists, as well as create bibliographic records for items in the Voyager circulation/cataloguing system.  Additional duties include assisting with the receiving, cataloguing and processing of materials, performing circulation desk duties, and monitoring compliance with library regulations.  You will also perform a range of other related duties to ensure the efficient operation of the Orillia Campus libraries.
 
You have a library technician diploma at minimum with proficiency in MS Office and Automated Library Information Systems such as Voyager.  Your superior communication and interpersonal skills are considered an asset.  You possess the ability to create class reserve lists and process items for reserves and have the necessary Cataloging experience, preferably with both LC and Dewey systems, to fulfill the duties of the position.  Experience working within an academic library is preferred.
